Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum

The Tango event at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Art Gallery takes place annually and
is primarily intended to promote the tango scene in Glasgow, encourage
participation in tango for all ages as well as in dance generally.

A new feature to the event in 2011 was tango music played on the Museums
organ by tango dancer and organist John Gormley.

All are welcome to this free event come along with your friends just to watch,
or to have a dance, or with the assistance of an experienced member of the
Glasgow tango community why not try the free taster class.

Those of you who were at the previous events will know the format, with dancing to be followed by a fun taster class for the general public, here experienced dancers from Glasgow's tango community provide their generous help in partnering a member of the public who fancies trying out their first tango steps.
