This class combined with the practica is the best learning option if you really wish to
progress with your tango skills. After the class you can keep on practicing and also
ask questions from Sari or Jeff during the rest of the practica if you need to refresh
anything you are not sure of.
These classes are suitable for anyone who has taken a beginners tango course and
understands such basic tango moves as forward and backwards ochos, the box
step, rocking step and the cross. During the autumn term you will build up your tango
vocabulary along with developing your posture, connection, use of dissociation and
the all important tango walk. We will work with tango, tango vals as well as with
milonga to help you to realize the differences between these forms of the social Argentine
Tango dance.
There is no need to book your place, you can turn up on the day. Though remember,
with regular attendance your progress will be better and this also makes it easier for us to
balance the numbers for leaders and followers. During the classes we encourage changing
partners but those booking as couples will also be given a chance to practice more together
if you wish to do so.

and has an excellent wooden floor for tango.
