Scotland first Tango Festival ran in Glasgow each October during 2006, 2007 & 2008

 The Festival was organised by Sari Lievonen Jeff Allan & Sue Porter.

     BBC Radio Scotland Teachers from Glasgow's second Tango festival give a class
       at BBC Scotland's Pacific Quay building.
      

Tango Real

The Berlin based quartet played at two Milongas during the first Glasgow Tango Festival in 2006
while during the third festival as well as playing for the Milonga ROBERT SCHMIDT - Piano.
and MATTHIAS LEUPOLD - Violin of Tango Real taught a master class at
Glasgow's Royal Academy of Music and Drama, the RSAMD.

RSAMD Master class

Tango music workshops at the RSMAD.
Held on Friday 17th October 2008

Tango Real’s  Robert Schmidt and Matthias Leupold, In collaboration with
Tango dancers Sari Lievonen and Jeff Allan taught workshops to the music
students at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama,
culminating in a concert by the academy students.
